Company president founded Pat’s Computer Rescue and PCR Business Systems in 2004.  Pat has over 15 years of experience driving technology strategy for local businesses.   He has a degree in Industrial Management from the University of Akron but is most proud of his continual learning that has led to the industry best process PCR delivers.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family doing activities like golfing, hiking, and running. He resides in Akron with his wife and three young children.

Jon Carroll

Jon has over 20 years experience working in desktop management, network engineering, project management and information security for small businesses, universities, and large corporations. He specializes in the execution and management of new projects and new product offerings for the businesses PCR works with.  Prior to working with PCR, Jon worked for over 10 years as a systems administrator at FedEx and many of the process and procedures learned from FedEx have made their way to the PCR Process.  Jon lives in Akron with his wife Amy and 3 young children.

Shaun Herrick
Network Engineer

Shaun has been with the PCR Team since the early days. He was the first employee Pat hired back in 2006. Shaun is a Network Administrator with PCR. He works behind the scenes setting up projects and working on new product offerings for our customers. When he isn’t working, Shaun enjoys remodeling his home and spending time with his family. Shaun lives in Akron with his wife Katie, and his son Jack.

Steve joined the PCR Team in 2017.  Steve has been working in the IT field since 1997.  He lives in Cuyahoga Falls with my wife and two sons. When he isn’t solving complex networking issues, Steve enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and camping…Oh and hosting a  slightly over the top Halloween event every year with his brothers

Scott Oeltjen
Network Administrator

Scott joined the PCR team in May 2010. As a Network Administrator, Scott is tasked with ensuring all of our customers receive an exceptional customer service experience.  He takes pride in making IT an asset for the businesses he serves, not a liability.   Scott graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a BA in Political Science and Economics and a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Akron in 2010. Scott is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and a loyal supported of our Cleveland teams.  Scott takes pride in his community and is a board member for the Ellet Amateur Athletic Association.  He also coaches a youth basketball team in Ellet.  In his spare time he enjoys golfing, reading, working out and currently resides in Akron with his wife, Krissy.

Amanda Carroll
Business Development Director

Amanda joined the PCR Team in 2010.  Amanda is responsible for all aspects of Business Development within PCR including business strategy and company growth.   Prior to working with PCR, she worked as the sales and marketing manager for Ohio.com.   Amanda also enjoys gardening and is a member of the Akron Garden Club, running and spending time with her family.  Amanda lives with her husband Pat and their three children in Akron. 

Lynette Bowen
Dispatcher/Office Manager

Lynette joined the PCR Team in June of 2014 taking on the role of Office Manager/Dispatcher and has over 13 years of experience supporting IT Departments.  She oversees all aspects of our office operations, as well as manages our service boards ensuring our customers receive the best service possible.  Lynette excels in organization and task management which helps make PCR’s helpdesk an industry leader.

Lynette is passionate about her community and is actively involved in her church. She and her family most recently served with the Hurricane Relief efforts in Houston where they installed drywall in two homes that were completely gutted by water damage. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and scrap-booking. She also sends creative care packages to local college students and military personnel who are in need of morale boosts. Lynette lives in Akron with her husband, son and daughter.

Kevin Carroll
Controller

Kevin “Uncle Kev” Carroll has been working with PCR since the business has started in 2004.  He worked many years “behind the scenes” keeping PCR’s books and in 2014 he took on the role as the company’s Controller.  Kevin is a retired accountant.  When not at PCR he enjoys hiking in the Metro Parks with his wife and dog Chester and riding his vintage Harley. Kevin has 2 children, 6 grandchildren and lives in Cuyahoga Falls.

Brandon Chaw

Brandon joined PCR in April 2012. Brandon specializes in fixing software related issues. He attended Cloverleaf High school, The Medina County Career Center and Full Sail University. In his free time he likes to play video games, read and draw. He currently resides in Seville with his wife and his son and daughter.

Josh Huffman

Josh joined the PCR Team in April, 2013. Josh is a military veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He graduated from ITT Tech with a degree in Networking and also has his bachelor’s degree in Information System Security. He lives in Medina with his wife and 3 girls. Josh enjoys watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.

Thomas Lowry
Small Business Specialist

Thomas Lowry joined the PCR Team in 2017.  Thomas is a student at The University of Akron and is working on his BS in Computer Information Systems, Cisco Networking.  He is also working on a minor in Business Management Technology.

Kevin McQuillen

Kevin was welcomed to the PCR Team in July, 2015.  He currently resides in Tallmadge with his wife, Ashley and son, Maxwell. His number one priority is spending time with his family. Kevin is a self-taught DIY’er! He enjoys the challenge of fixing ANYTHING including cars, mechanical and electrical devices and is always helping family with computer problems.  When his is not working he finds himself constantly researching/trying to learn about the latest technology. Kevin also loves cooking oriental/specialty foods (Like his Grandma Baggao!) and really enjoys using his grills/smokers! Kevin constantly strives to be the best at what he does and is up for any challenge.

Ricky Merrill
Small Business Specialist

Ricky has been with the PCR Team since 2008 and has over 12 years of experience working in the IT Industry. Ricky specializes detecting and solving recurring hardware and software issues for clients, implementing automated solutions to make the life of our end users easier and he has an excellent ability to quickly learn and understand new software.   Ricky also received a certification from Apple University and has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 2007.  When he isn’t busy at work, he is an avid hobbyist that enjoys electronic gaming, volleyball, fishing, paintball, board games and just hanging out with friends. Ricky currently resides with his wife and puppy in Green and most recently became a Deacon at his church.

Kyle Stebbins
Small Business Onsite Specialist

Kyle was welcomed to the PCR Team in July, 2015. Kyle first discovered his love for computers when he took a computer class in High School. After graduation, he attended the University of Akron and acquired his degree in Computer Information Systems. Kyle is a lifelong resident of Akron. When he isn’t working, he can be found fishing or working on cars. He is a huge car enthusiast, he especially loves Fords and his Mustang.

Brandon Harris
Lead Technician | Pat's Computer Rescue

Brandon Harris was hired to the PCR Team in March, 2015  and oversees our retail store in Hudson. Brandon is a customer service guru and excels at troubleshooting and solving any computer issues that come into our shop.  In addition to his extensive knowledge in PC and MAC repair, he is proficient in building gaming rigs.  When he is not working for PCR, he enjoys going to Lake Erie Monsters games and participating in all E-sports communities.

Torrence Stimson
Lead Mobile Technician | Pat's Computer Rescue

Torrence joined the PCR team in December of 2017. Torrence has extensive smartphone and tablet repair knowledge. In other words, if you have a problem with your device, Torrence is the guy who can fix it! Torrence grew up in Southwest Michigan and played collegiate baseball. He currently lives in Cleveland Heights with his fiancé and when he isn’t working, he is staying active golfing, biking and being outdoors. Torrence is a valuable addition to the PCR team and brings extensive phone repair knowledge to the PCR Team.
