As a huge sports fan, I always enjoy a good sports analogy that relates to life. We can often use these as an easy way to help guide us through the struggles in our daily lives. Toughness was a great combination of Jay Bilas’s real-life experiences with insight from some of the greatest minds in collegiate and professional athletics. If you are looking for an inspirational read that has input from some of the biggest names in sports, this book is it.

  • Lastly, toughness is not gained solely as an individual. Toughness is developed through parents, coaches, friends, bosses, co-workers and teammates. Work on your toughness to improve yourself and to help improve the people around you.
